I found this very useful SEO tool today at one of the webmaster forums I frequent. I was just kind of browsing around and happened to come upon a tool called ,the SEO for Firefox plugin, that I will use from now on. I felt the need to share this I found it to be very useful for determining quite a bit about a website on the fly and displaying that information to you quickly. I would recommend checking out this SEO tool if you are into finding out as much information about websites as I am. The tool has been around for a bit it seems, and I just had not found it yet. The reason I did find it was that the latest version had been released. The tool was released by Aaron Wall, and looks to be a solid tool for anyone looking to move ahead in the SEO field.

I have heard Aaron Wall's name floating around in the SEO field for a while now, and from what I can tell he seems to be a pretty solid player in the industry. He has a book, if you haven't heard of it, you wil if you are into SEO. I have not read it myself, mainly because you have to buy it, but he currently is writing some on a column running over at Search Engine Land called 100% Organic. He has some pretty great SEO advice for anyone looking to work on optimizing their website for search engines, analyzing the right information, and also usually has some great ideas on promoting your site. The rest of the column itself has some of the other great minds in SEO world.

As I have come to find in my travels in the SEO world, some websites are not always what they appear to be, and can even harm your site in the long run. This can be the case whether you link to them, or they happen to link to you. The best SEO advice I can give is to be cautious and find out as much information when embarking on reaching that number 1 result. In the end, the more information you know, the more informed decisions you can make in your link building efforts. As G.I. Joe once said, "Knowing is half the battle." The other half must be lots work.
